Abstract The fast-fashion business model is marred by high resource consumption and enormous emission of greenhouse gases. It based on inaccurate forecasts, resulting in excess supply than demand. Globally, 85% two-week-old garments end up as unfashionable or worn-out items that must be discarded waste, disposed for recycling, donated to charities. With this colossal increase textile efficiency one the biggest challenges facing fashion industry, which now calls a swift implementation new sustainable extend product life cycles. This demand encourages consumers reuse, recycle resell. resell campaign known second-hand clothing growing market worldwide. Current global forecasts predict 185% over next ten years, compared FF, will expand just 20%. Africa top destination, with more 80% its population wearing SHCs.
